One of the main spotlights for the show this year was Enchanted World of Color featuring cars and bikes with focus on paint presentation. Below are the following cars and bikes that were in this area.
As you know by now, Mooneyes has an event called Crown Classics. It's been going on for 25 consecutive years. This year, to celebrate the big 25, the event was held inside the show as a special spotlight area. There were top quality Crowns from the 1st generation Crown through the 4th generation. Pickup trucks (also known as utes), wagons, sedans and coupes. A great way to celebrate by spending it at HCS2014.
For the past decade, Rat Island has grown into a worldwide, international area. Not only have the cars and bikes "evolved" into something more that a rat, it could be quite possible it's time for a change in its name. Artists, friends and guests travel from all over the world to hang out here. The perimeter of the area is fenced off with tables featuring return guests and new faces too. The cars and bikes are quite popular as they are sitting among the crowd.
Unfortunately this year, a Best of Show Automobile was not determined. The award staff spent the entire night, until after 1AM, going through each of the car show vehicles but were unable to come to a decision. We hope this will change next year. Below are some of the fine show cars entered in the show.
