WE ASK FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND COOPERATION
For the past several years, the neighboring residents of Pacifico Yokohama have been increasingly concerned about noise pollution and rowdy crowds during the event. This year, we ask that everybody consider the neighbors and surrounding area. Only we can perpetuate this culture of cars and bikes in a positive way. Please think about it, especially in residential areas, be safe and have fun.

This year, the city of Yokohama and Pacifico Yokohama rented the event hall to us with conditions. One of those conditions is no longer having motorcycle parking in the basement of the Pacifico Yokohama. Another requirement is prohibition of all 2-wheeled vehicles in the area of Pacifico Yokohama. If you are coming to the event via motorcycle, please do not drive it to the event hall as you will be turned away. Find parking somewhere else. We apologize for the trouble and inconvenience this may cause. We have been unsuccessful in finding a parking lot for bikes in the area that we could rent but there will be public/coin parking nearby.

NOTE: ALL ENTRY FORMS/APPLICATIONS MUST BE FULLY PAID IN 10 DAYS AFTER FINAL CONFIRMATION EMAIL.
ENTRY DEADLINE : SATURDAY OCTOBER 18, 2014 Postmark on entry form must be on or before October 18, 2014. Applications/Registrations from abroad will be handled through email communication. Please download, print and fill out the form. Scan it and send it to hcs2014@mooneyes.co.jp via email and we will begin the process. Entry response letters are scheduled to be sent out after November 20, 2014. Space is limited and the sooner you send in your entry the better. We also aim to get through this process as soon as possible and encourage everyone to register early.
IMPORTANT: Refunds are not given to cancellations on or after the entry deadline.

SHOW ENTRY: HOW TO REGISTER
In order to participate in the 23rd Annual YOKOHAMA HOT ROD Custom Show 2014, you must read the download (PDF) entry form, all sides/pages, and go through the list of entry types and available options. Once decided, please fill out the form provided and select the entry type and options listed with correct quantity and totals. Once complete, cut along the dashed line, send in the filled portion (2 pages if PDF) via email (hcs2014@mooneyes.co.jp) and wait for our confirmation. You must be able to communicate in English or Japanese. Failure to do so may result in an unsuccessful registration. Please call/email for assistance and questions. All entrants have special requirements, such as photo confirmation or description. Do not send payment without our confirmation message. Once the confirmation message is sent, you have 10 days to complete the payment via PayPal. Details will be given via email.

Setup/Installation day is DEC. 6, 2014 (SAT) ONLY.
Additional options requested on setup day will be DOUBLE the preorder price shown on the entry form and based on availability only. Please preorder to guarantee your optional items. Vendor booths are technically vendor spaces and do not have partitions/walls. The space is just the space. You will need to provide everything else on your own such as chairs, tables, shelves, electrical outlet, lights etc. Please review the options section on the entry form for these items. No roofs, covers, ceilings, overhead covers allowed in your space. You can use a canopy "skeleton" or frame without the cover but covers are prohibited and considered a fire hazard. Please contact us with questions prior to submission.

Car Show, Rat Island, Enchanted World of Color (cars) and The Crown of Crown entry forms must use one (1) form per one (1) vehicle.

HCS2014 Entry Categories

CAR SHOW
1 space (approx. 6.0m x 3.0m area per 4-wheeled vehicle) Entry Fee: ¥31,000 each
USA Autos, Japanese Domestics, VW & etc.
Photo required for screening. Entry includes: 2 wristbands; 1 “Show Participant” T-shirt; 1 plaque; 1 compact car parking pass. Car Show Entry is limited. Entry types such as semi trucks, etc will be denied entry. In cases where a 2-wheeled vehicle is to be part of a display, entrant must acquire authorization beforehand (enclose notice with entry form).


ENCHANTED WORLD OF COLOR (AUTOMOBILE) (SPOTLIGHT)
1 space (approx. 6.0m x 3.0m area per 4-wheeled vehicle) Entry Fee: ¥31,000 each
THIS SECTION INCLUDES BLACK CARPET FLOORING. Entry includes: 2 wristbands; 1 “Show Participant” T-shirt; 1 plaque; 1 compact car parking pass. Photo required for screening. Focused on amazing paint and color schemes. Best of Enchanted World of Color Award will be selected.

ENCHANTED WORLD OF COLOR (MOTORCYCLE) (SPOTLIGHT)
1 space (approx. 2.5m x 2.0m area per 2-wheeled vehicle) Entry Fee: ¥21,000 each
THIS SECTION INCLUDES BLACK CARPET FLOORING. Entry includes: 2 wristbands; 1 “Show Participant” T-shirt; 1 plaque; 1 compact car parking pass. Photo required for screening. Focused on amazing paint and color schemes. Best of Enchanted World of Color Award will be selected.


RAT ISLAND
The purpose of Rat Island is to centralize a place for cars & bikes that are drivers, suede, traditional hot rods and kustoms that are show worthy without the show shine. The perimeter features kustom art, pinstriping, music etc. completing the circle. For those that would like to showcase their car with a display or allocated space, please use the main car show category. The perimeter of Rat Island is fenced, but display vehicles are not protected and risk coming in to contact with viewers interactively walking through the area. Entrants take full responsibility for any loss or damages to their own property.

Restrictions: Must be complete, drivable. No reserved space, first come first served, no displays.
Photo required for screening. Entry includes: 1 wristband; 1 “Show Participant” T-shirt; 1 plaque.

AUTOMOTIVE: Model year up to 1948 only, limited to hot rods, customs and kustoms etc. of the vintage type.
1 entry Entry Fee: ¥21,000 each

MOTORCYCLE: Model year up to 1947 only, limited to choppers, bobbers, drag bikes etc. of the vintage type.
1 entry Entry Fee: ¥16,000 each


BIKE SHOW
1 space (approx. 2.5m x 2.0m) Entry Fee: ¥21,000 per space (up to two bikes)
Photo required for screening. Entry Fee includes up to two (2) motorcycles. If you wish to include more (3 or more) within the allowed space, each additional entry is ¥5,200 per bike. If all entries don’t fit within the space provided, then the unable to be displayed bikes will be canceled without refund. Please be sure to reserve enough spaces. If you are planning to display your bike with a car, please contact us for details.
Entry includes: 2 wristbands; 1 “Show Participant” T-shirt; 1 plaque; 1 compact car parking pass.


THE DIGGER BEAT (SPOTLIGHT)
1 space (please specify dimensions) Entry Fee: ¥21,000 per space (1 bike only)
SPOTLIGHT feature for 2014 is THE DIGGER BEAT. Photo required for screening. Entry Fee is for one motorcycle only. Best of The Digger Beat (Award) will be selected from this area only. This section includes black carpet flooring.
Entry includes: 2 wristbands; 1 “Show Participant” T-shirt; 1 plaque; 1 compact car parking pass.


SIGN OF THE TIMES CUSTOM PAINT CONTEST (SPOTLIGHT)
1 space (one item only) Entry Fee: ¥6,100 per display space
The custom paint contest this year is a wall clock. It can be store bought or custom made, vintage or new so long as it represents a wall clock. Artist must be present on the event day to enter. Must be completed and ready for display. Display area is provided, hanging is required. Entry must have mount prepared on the back for handing. Best of Sign of the Times (Award) will be selected. Photo required for screening. Entry includes: 1 wristband; 1 plaque.
Optional “Show Participant” T-shirt can be order separately for an additional 2,100 yen. (1 per entry only)


VENDOR BOOTH (SPACE)
1 space (approx. 3m x 3m) Entry Fee: ¥52,000 each
No food or beverage sales permitted. Entry includes: 2 wristbands; 1 plaque; 1 compact car parking pass. Description of business or type/target of goods for sale required with entry. Price is for space only (3m x 3m each). There are no partitions or walls. Vendor must supply their own display items. Optional rental items are available. Tables cloths for rental tables are not provided. Tent or covered canopies are not permitted (canopy frame is ok). Contact us for details.
Optional “Show Participant” T-shirt can be order separately for an additional 2,100 yen. (1 per entry only)

LIMITED VENDOR SPACE AVAILABLE. First come, first served. However, payment in full must be confirmed within 10 days of final confirmation message.


COLLECTIVITIES ALLEY
1 space (approx. 3m x 3m) Entry Fee: ¥52,000 each
This category gives you a 3x3 space (non expandable) to display and exhibit your pride craft, photos, artwork or collection. Like a one-person exhibit/art show anything you have on display can be sold too. Mania collectors welcome! Love of bikes, cars, USA culture, you can boast in your own space right at HCS - possibly draw appeal to a cool genre! Find others that share your interests even! Of course, artists, illustrators and photographers too. Have a gallery inside HCS! Please consult with MOONEYES for details. Description required for entry approval. Space is very limited. Walls included but no holes and exhibitor must prepare a way to hang items without making holes in the wall. Nets are available as an optional rental item.

MINI CAR, MODEL CAR, PEDAL CAR
1 space (approx. 60cm x 60cm) display area
Entry Fee: ¥6,200 per display space, on table, not limited to one vehicle.
Space must be reserved in advance and cannot enter on show day. (No Walk-ins)
Entry includes: 1 wristband; no event T-shirt; 1 plaque; no car parking pass.
Optional “Show Participant” T-shirt can be ordered separately for an additional 2,100 yen. (1 per entry only)


PARKING PASS
Regular passenger car parking passes are not available in advance, however vehicles up to 2 tons, up to 4 tons and anything above 4 tons are. Haulers and loading trucks, vans, flat beds, tow vehicles, etc. are the target vehicles for these parking passes. 2t is 13,000 yen; up to 4t is 18,000 yen and over 4t is 33,000 yen; each good for two days. Parking tickets are mandatory. If you do not have a parking ticket on the event day, you will not be permitted in the reserved parking area.


CARPET FLOORING (OPTIONAL ADD-ON)
Car Show Carpet: ¥31,000 (6.0m x 3.0m), Bike Show Carpet: ¥9,500 (2.5m x 2.0m).
Carpet color is black only. This is flooring for the display area. Only available as a preorder option.
