It’s all started from Shun "40 Years of Hot Rodding in Japan"
2025年、40周年を迎えた "Deuce Factory Japan" 。日本の Hot Rodding の歴史は、Shun Kasai という人物をなくして語れません。今回は、周年を記念した企画として、Ford モデルT(1908年)から1934年までの Traditional Style の Hot Rod, Street Rod がパシフィコ横浜に、なんと奇跡的に32台も集まりました。Shun Kasai が1986年の4月に Dean MOON の隣の家に置いてあった Deuce Pickup を購入し、日本における HOT ROD の文化がスタートしました。その車をベースに製作されたLuana Motors Mr. Saitou 1932 Ford Model-B Woody Wagon が今回 Best It’s all started from Shun "40 Years of Hot Rodding in Japan" を獲得。今回の企画にふさわしい 1台がアワードを獲得しました。おめでとうございます！

In 2025, Deuce Factory Japan celebrates its 40th anniversary. The history of Hot Rodding in Japan cannot be told without mentioning Shun Kasai. To mark this milestone year, an extraordinary gathering of 32 traditional-style Hot Rods and Street Rods—starting with the Ford Model T (1908) to 1934 models—came together at Pacifico Yokohama, a truly miraculous sight.
Japan’s Hot Rod culture began when Shun Kasai purchased a Deuce Pickup in April 1986, a truck that had been sitting next to Dean MOON’s home. Based on that very vehicle, the 1932 Ford Model-B Woody Wagon from Luana Motors’ Mr. Saitou won the Best “It’s all started from Shun — 40 Years of Hot Rodding in Japan” award. It was the perfect car to receive this special anniversary honor. Congratulations!

今年の Car Show エリアは、従来の手法を踏襲しながらもさらに発展したカスタムが随所に見られ、斬新なアイデアやペイントワーク、パーツの選定など、来場者を唸らせる素晴らしい車両が揃いました。多くの来場者が展示車両の前で足を止め、写真を撮ったりビルダーと会話を楽しみました。
This year’s Car Show area featured custom builds that honored traditional styles while pushing them even further. Innovative ideas, striking paintwork, and thoughtful parts selection came together to impress visitors with an outstanding lineup of automobiles. Many attendees stopped in front of the displays to take photos and talk with the builders, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere throughout the show.
