Gracious Pickups 1959 - 1987 El Camino

Car Show エリアのスポットライト 1つ目は Gracious Pickups 1959 - 1987 El Camino。今年で最終生産から30年を経った今でも根強いファンがいる El Camino にスポットを当て、本国 USA からは 1959 Chevrolet El Camino "KERMIT" を招待しました。様々な年代の Custom El Camino が一同に会した様子は圧巻でした。

そして今年は MOONEYES Project Car として 1959 El Camino がデビュー！詳細は近日公開予定です！

The first spotlight in the Car Show area is Gracious Pickups 1959 - 1987 El Camino. The spotlight focuses on the El Camino, which this year marks the 30th anniversary after the final production. We invited the 1959 Chevrolet El Camino "Kermit" from USA. It was awesome to have various year models of custom El Caminos gathered in one place.

And the 1959 El Camino MOONEYES Project Car will debut this year. Details will be updated soon!

Taste of Deuce - 85 Years of the Deuce

もうひとつのスポットライトは Taste of Deuce。1932 Ford (Deuce) から85年。MOONEYES Special Competition Coupe を招き、Deuce だけのコーナーを展開。永遠の人気車の 32' Deuce が偶然にも32台のエントリーがあり、85年目の節目の年をみなさんで祝いました。

Taste of Deuce is another spotlight. It has been 85 years for the 1932 Ford (Deuce). The MOONEYES Special Competition Coupe was an invited guest and an area was opened only for the Deuce. Coincidentally, there were 32 entries for the legendary 32' Deuce. Everyone was celebrating the 85th year milestone.

Car Show

今年は HOT ROD のエントリーがかなり多かった印象を受けた Car Show エリア。以前製作した車両をリメイクしてガラッと雰囲気を変えてきた車両も多く、Staff 一同楽しませてもらいました。来年は今年にもまして誰しもがアット驚く車両が現れる事を楽しみにしています。

At the Car Show area it seem that there were a lot of HOT ROD entries for this year. There were some cars that were completely remodeled from the previously manufactured vehicle and the staff enjoyed looking at them. We will be looking forward to next year's surprise car even more than this year.

International Village

今年の1月、昨年の HCS2016 でゲストで来日した Pete Chapouris の訃報の知らせが入りました。今年はその追悼も込めて、海外から来られた沢山のベンダーブースが集まる International Village の入り口に等身大のパネルを設置させて頂きました。

そして International Village には終日多くのお客様が来場したエリアで、昨年にもまして沢山のエントリーがありました。アジア、オーストラリア、USA、ヨーロッパとワールドワイドな Shop が立ち並び、普段日本ではなかなか見る事ができない商品やアーティストの交流を楽しんで頂けたと思います。

In January of this year, the unfortunate news came regarding the passing of Pete Chapouris, who was a guest for HCS2016. In memory of Pete we prepared a life-size panel at the entrance of International Village where lots of vendor booths from overseas gathered. The International Village was one of the popular areas that many customers visited. Shops from Asia, Australia, USA, Europe and worldwide were there. We hope everyone enjoyed the exchange between the artists and goods that aren't usually found in Japan.
